Eurocopter Canada provides initial transition and recurrency courses to pilots who hold a valid private helicopter pilot certificate.
Eurocopter Canada Limited’s Transition Ground School covers the following subjects:
- Aircraft systems
- Emergency procedures
- Autopilot (when applicable)
- Cockpit displays and controls
- Performance planning and charts
- Weight and balance
- Review of the aircraft flight manual
- Preflight/post flight checks
- Night rating
Pilot trainees are given a closed-book final examination on helicopter limitations and overall course content, and must achieve a score of 70% or higher to receive a certificate of completion.
Eurocopter Canada’s training center offers initial training courses based on a three-person minimum. The price quoted is per student. Courses may be available upon request and depending on instructor’s availability.
Eurocopter Canada’s training center offers on-site training in your helicopter. A flight instructor will be sent to a location of your choice.
The cost of on-site training is based on the following flat fee basis and a maximum of five students, $2,000.00 per day within Canada, plus travel expenses.
